Preparing for Your In-Person Experience

September 26, 2025

Registration & Opening Plenary

Please note that doors will open at 8:15 AM for registration on Friday, September 26 at the Monona Terrace in Madison at 1 John Nolen Dr, Madison, WI 53703. Please plan to arrive in time to check in and get your nametag on Level 4 of Monona Terrace before heading to the Grand Terrace for the opening of the day.

We will start the In-Person Summit experience at 9:00 AM. This year we will be opening the In-Person day by gathering all attendees for welcoming remarks.

Coffee and Tea will be available, but breakfast will NOT be served so please be planful of your needs.

Directions and Parking

Additional information about Directions, Parking and Accessible Parking for the Monona Terrace- including info on accessible parking can be found here.

Parking at Monona Terrace will be limited due to ongoing construction that has removed 150 spots from the onsite ramp. We encourage all attendees to:

  • Arrive early to allow time to find parking

  • Carpool if possible

  • Check nearby ramps and view real-time parking availability on the City of Madison website. The closest alternate ramp is the Wilson Street Garage, a City-owned parking ramp just a short walk away.

Accessibility

Accessibility information for the Monona Terrace can be found here. There are all-gender restrooms available on the 4th (main) floor of the Monona Terrace.

Masks and Sanitation

We invite attendees to please use their best and most cautious judgment related to the possible spread of illness. It is important to care for one another in this way, and especially to support those among us who are immunocompromised or live with someone who is. People who have recently been in spaces with possible exposure to someone with COVID-19, RSV, or other illnesses are especially encouraged to wear a high-quality mask when indoors in public.

Hand sanitation will be readily available, and we will also have masks available for you.

Chemical Sensitivities

We also ask that folks be mindful of fragrance-use as there are attendees that indicate chemical sensitivities. Although the Summit is not a fragrance free event, we ask in-person Summit attendees to limit their personal use of products that contain fragrance to a minimum (i.e perfumes, lotions, room sprays, sanitizers, etc.)  as these can trigger serious health issues for people with chemical sensitivities. Here you can learn more about why engaging in this collective behavioral change matters.
