In-Person Breakout Experiences at the Racial Justice Summit

Our breakout experiences are designed to meet you where you are, offering both deep-dives and focused conversations on a variety of topics and curated for specific audiences. Whether you want to immerse yourself in a longer, interactive institute or explore several shorter sessions, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your Summit experience in two types of in-person breakout experiences: Institutes and Sessions. Each offers a different pace and depth of learning, so you can choose what best fits your needs and interests.

Institutes

Institutes are extended 2.5-hour experiences that allow for a deeper dive into a single theme. They often blend community building, skill development, and group dialogue, creating space for meaningful connection and practical learning. Institutes are best for those who want to immerse themselves in one topic and explore it in depth.

Sessions

Sessions are shorter and more focused, designed to highlight a specific issue, practice, or perspective. These offerings provide concentrated learning and conversation, giving you the opportunity to engage with a variety of topics throughout the day.

Making Your Selections
