Accessibility
ASL Interpretation
The Summit will feature American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and captioning in English for all Virtual offerings.
Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center
The majority of in-person gatherings will be held at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison, WI. Accessibility information for the Monona Terrace can be found here. There are all-gender restrooms available on the 4th (main) floor of the Monona Terrace.
Please be planful of your transportation plans to the Monona Terrace as there is ongoing construction on the parking ramp and in the surrounding area that may impact travel and parking.
Chemical Sensitivities
Although the Summit is not a fragrance-free event, we ask in-person Summit attendees to limit their personal use of products that contain fragrance to a minimum (i.e perfumes, lotions, room sprays, sanitizers, etc.) as these can trigger serious health issues for people with chemical sensitivities. You can learn more about why engaging in this collective behavioral change matters here.
Health and Community Care for In-Person Experiences
For all of our in-person experiences, we will be following the guidance of the CDC and Public Health Madison & Dane County for large gatherings. Hand sanitation will be readily available and masks are in inventory at the Help Desk.
You will have the opportunity to name your accessibility requests as part of the registration process. If you require any additional accommodation or service, or if you are experiencing any accessibility issues with the registration site, please email racialjustice@ywcamadison.org with your request. We kindly request advance notice if you have additional needs and are happy to support.

Policies
It is our preference that registrants pay with a credit card at the time of registration. If you are not able to pay with a card, additional payment options can be arranged.
Payment Method
The deadline for participants to cancel their registration for the 2025 Racial Justice Summit is as follows:
In order to receive a refund (minus administrative fees), we need to receive your cancellation by September 2, 2025. Any cancellations received afterwards will not be eligible for a refund.
Between September 4 and September 18, you will have the option to transfer your registration to someone else.
If you pay via credit card, you will receive a refund back to your credit card. It may take two to three days to appear on your account from the date the refund is processed.
Registrants who are unable to attend may pass their registration to someone else.

We will be applying for continuing education hours with the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW-WI). It is our hope that social workers will have the opportunity to receive continuing education certificates corresponding to their specific participation in the Summit.
Updates on CEUs for social workers will be posted to this website as we have them.

It is important to us to have accurate information about identities, needs, and interests for each Summit participant. Our hope is that (other than for the Collective Ticket) each attendee will respond to the registration form themselves. This way, we are more likely to have accurate information, which will help us in responsively shaping the Summit experience for you.
If you are registering on behalf of someone else, it is important that the information we receive in the registration form corresponds to the person who will be attending.
Feel free to use this fillable/printable form to support you in providing accurate information on behalf of the person you are registering for. It has all of the information you’ll need to have on hand when you go to register and pay.
