Marcela Kyngesburye
Marcela Kyngesburye (ella/she/her) is a Mexican immigrant, facilitator, community educator, and founder of Experiencing Being. For more than 20 years, she has woven together mindfulness, movement, neuroscience, grief support, restorative and somatic practices, creativity, and spiritual inquiry. In her work at the Rape Crisis Center and throughout the Madison community, Marcela creates bilingual, culturally responsive spaces where people can reconnect with their bodies, inner wisdom, and one another. She believes that healing ourselves is not separate from healing our communities—and that creating spaces where people remember their humanity is a radical act of justice. She is often accompanied on life’s adventures by Falkor, her tiny but mighty Chihuahua.
