Julie Swanson
Julie Swanson is a death doula and ceremonialist. She provides practical, emotional and spiritual support at endings and thresholds. Julie hosts circles, co-creates rituals and collaborates on community grief and healing experiences. She has over 25 years experience in adult learning, communications and public health. Julie lives on the west side of Madison in a metal house with a magical garden (that has a wind phone.)

Together we will explore how to create and hold a space that is strong enough, potent enough and welcoming enough to expand to a wider and deeper knowing of grief and sorrow.
In this space we will cultivate grief tending practices including reflective journaling, witnessing, circle practice, and ritual.What might happen if we approach our grief with reverence, curiosity and care in the company of community?
