Carla Williams
Carla Williams is a Certified Peer Support Specialist, public speaker, communications and experiential strategist, and founder and executive director of The View From Here Wellness Collective, a community wellness organization creating culturally affirming spaces for Black women. Through workshops, community conversations, curated experiences, and the Black Women Deserve Podcast, Carla explores mental health, burnout, identity, pleasure, self-worth, and the ways race, gender, culture, and systems shape how we experience wellness. She holds a Master of Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and brings a storytelling and communications lens to her work. Carla was named a 2026 BRAVA Woman to Watch and has also been recognized by the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals and the Black Women’s Leadership Conference.
