Micah Sagers is a fourth-year student at UW–Madison majoring in Biology with minors in African American Studies and Global Health. Her academic and personal interests lie at the intersection of health, medicine, and social justice. As a research fellow with the SoulFolk Collective since her sophomore year, she values the opportunity to listen to diverse stories and amplify Black voices. After graduation, Micah plans to pursue medical school and a career rooted in community well-being. One of her favorite authors is Toni Morrison.
